Interior Architecture and Environmental Design

Interior Architecture and Environmental Design is a profession based on meeting the expectations of the user; creating an aesthetic identity; providing solutions for the functional requirements using scientific and technical data in order to design the most comfortable environment.

The Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design aims to educate creative and innovative interior designers who propose aesthetic and unique solutions by means of utilising latest computer aided design technologies, who approach problems within the framework of universal design principles taking into consideration issues like user health and safety. The program also aims to educate interior designers who will be pioneers of professional practice by means of disseminating their knowledge with peers and colleagues.

Students must successfully finish all courses and internships set by the program taking at least 240 ECTS credits in total, to be granted with the Bachelor’s degree. Graduation eligibility is determined by academic average score. For this purpose, the sum of the weighted scores of all courses taken throughout the education is divided by the sum of ECTS values.

The department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts plans to train young executive, manager and chef candidates who are needed in the field of food and beverage management, educated in culinary culture and having a competitive potential at international level.
