Welcome to Vocational School of Health Services

The students, who successfully graduate from the 2-years associate degree program of the department, are entitled to be a candidate of Biomedical Engineers. Each year the department accepts  The education language is Turkish, where language preparation class is mandatory.

Aim

The aim of the program is to train biomedical device technology, technical staff who recognize biomedical systems and equipment, know the characteristics, can make the installation, repair, maintenance, calibration of biomedical devices and successful in individual and team work.

Graduation Requirements

Students must successfully finish all courses and internships set by the program taking at least 120 ECTS credits in total, to be granted the Bachelor’s degree. Graduation eligibility is determined by academic average score. For this purpose, the sum of the weighted scores of all courses taken throughout the education is divided by the sum of ECTS values.

Employement Opportunities

The program graduates have job opportunities at health institutions, laboratories, device development teams private clinics, etc.
