Physiotherapy

Welcome to Vocational School of Health Services

The goal of the AMU Department of Physiotherapy is to provide healthcare staff that helps patients achieve optimal recovery of function and movement, and enhance the overall quality of life through:
  • Promotion of fitness and healthcare
  • Prevention of disabilities
  • Identification of causes for dysfunction (like pain, muscle tightness)
  • Augmentation of independence in activities of daily living

Aim

To train assistant health personnel who can use technological tools and equipment in the field of physiotherapy and give importance to human health and ethical values.

Graduation Requirements

Students must successfully finish all courses and internships set by the program taking at least 120 ECTS credits in total, to be granted the Bachelor’s degree. Graduation eligibility is determined by academic average score. For this purpose, the sum of the weighted scores of all courses taken throughout the education is divided by the sum of ECTS values.

Employement Opportunities

The program graduates have job opportunities in private sector establishments. They can also open their own workplace.
