Using ionizing radiation and Noniyonizan scrutiny by preparing the patient for diagnosis and treatment of diseases, conventional and digital X-ray, fluoroscopy, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, medical imaging devices such as PET-CT and ultrasonography of obtaining the image, making the film and images ready for use, the device and equipment able to control and maintain the knowledge and skills to train qualified radiology technician.

The aim of the medical imaging techniques program is to train radiology technicians who have higher education in radiology; have the knowledge and experience to work in all conventional and digital devices of radiology; know the basis and application of all the radiological devices; target to increase the quality of radiological researches and professional success.

Students must successfully finish all courses and internships set by the program taking at least 120 ECTS credits in total, to be granted the Bachelor’s degree. Graduation eligibility is determined by academic average score. For this purpose, the sum of the weighted scores of all courses taken throughout the education is divided by the sum of ECTS values.

The program graduates have job opportunities in private sector establishments, state hospitals, etc. They can also open their own workplace.
